The non-magnetic design allows the 3870 MRI infusion pump to operate safely in ultra high magnetic fields without the need for workarounds typically required with traditional infusion pumps.
Simple IV Tubing Setup
Multi-colored LED lights in the pump door and door handle guide the clinician through the IV set loading process. Simultaneously, the lights correspond with user onscreen interactions creating a simple and seamless user experience.
Intuitive Programming
Straightforward animated graphics and input borders guide the user through each programming screen, making it an easy to follow and comfortable programming process for new or infrequent users of the MRI pump.
Intelligent Non-Magnetic Design
The docking spine makes the smart pump even smarter. When 1, 2, 3 or 4 pumps are docked onto a spine they all act as one, sharing power and a remote control. Flexibility is maximized by detaching a pump, enabling intrahospital transport.

The 3870 features a modern DERS drug library solution, allowing a single infusion pump to accommodate multiple patient care areas with a comprehensive dose and concentration unit list. These features allow a single pump to operate independently to deliver anesthetics or to be combined with additional 3870 pumps to operate as a four-channel IV infusion pump system for critical care patients.

The new Graphical User Interface (GUI) will provide step by step instructions with appropriate symbols, guide lights, and audio prompts to aid the operator in day to day use. From opening the door, priming & loading the IV set, to starting the infusion, IRadimed’s simplified and user friendly GUI aims to reduce frustrations and errors during the setting up of a new patient.
